Client:
Mallard Cablevision (Mallard) owns cable television properties located in AL, FL, GA and SC. SunTel Communications (SunTel) owns the cable television system serving Perry, GA.

Transaction:
CEA represented Mallard in the sale of certain cable television assets to LB Cable LLC. The transaction involved cable television systems serving approximately 24,500 cable subscribers located in GA, SC, AL and FL. CEA also advised SunTel in the sale of the cable television system serving approximately 7,000 cable subscribers located in Perry, GA to ComSouth Corporation. Assets were sold at public auction at direction of U.S. District Bankruptcy Court. Client had filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.

Prepared Memorandum of Information by State and clusters of systems.
Assisted Management Group in valuing assets.
Contacted potential buyers.
Coordinated due diligence activity.
Communicated throughout the sale process with the Management Group,
Trustee for Bankruptcy Court, Creditor Committee, work out consultant, and attorneys for all concerned parties.
Qualified bidders and conducted Bankruptcy Auction.
Assisted successful bidders in closing.
