February 25, 2008. Communications Equity Associates ("CEA") announced today that it represented Silver Cable Enterprises, LLC ("Silver Companies") in the sale of certain cable television assets to Digital Services, LLC ("Digital"). The transaction involved the cable television systems serving Widewater Village, Potomac Village and Brooke Hill in Stafford County, Virginia.
Silver Companies is a diversified real estate investment and development firm with offices in Fredericksburg, Virginia and Boca Raton, Florida. Its subsidiary, Silver Cable Enterprises, LLC provided video and data services to three Silver Company properties in Stafford County, Virginia.
Digital Services, LLC provides voice, video and data services to multi-family residences in the Mid-Atlantic region. Digital is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
Robert D. Berger, Managing Director of CEA represented the seller in the transaction. Mr. Berger is based in CEA's Tampa, Florida headquarters.
